About Jayne

Hello,
I’m a registered osteopath and pelvic health coach with a genuine passion for helping people keep moving, stay active and feel more confident in their bodies.
I treat women and men with a wide range of musculoskeletal problems, from everyday aches and pains to injuries and longer-standing problems. I also have a particular interest in supporting midlife women who are experiencing pelvic health concerns, menopause-related changes or a mixture of pelvic health and MSK symptoms.
MY JOURNEY INTO OSTEOPATHY
My career began in 1999 when I qualified as a sports therapist. I loved working with the body and helping people recover from pain and injury, but I wanted to understand more, which eventually led me to train as an osteopath.
I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Osteopathy in 2010 and have now spent 27 years working hands-on with the body, including 16 years in osteopathic practice.
Over the years, I’ve continued to add to my skills through training in pelvic health, personal training, fitness instruction, dry needling, therapeutic ultrasound, kinesiology taping and currently working towards my Pilates qualification.
During the Covid pandemic, I also worked as a healthcare assistant at Hillingdon Hospital across A&E, orthopaedics and maternity before later supporting NHS Test and Trace.
WHY WOMEN’S PELVIC HEALTH?
My interest in pelvic health grew from both my clinical work and my own experiences of hysterectomy, menopause, prolapse and leaks.
I know how confusing it can be when your body changes and the only advice you hear is to do more pelvic floor squeezes. Pelvic health is rarely just about one muscle. Breathing, pressure, movement, hormones, previous surgery, the nervous system and the way the rest of the body is working may all be part of the picture.
I particularly enjoy helping midlife women understand some of these connections and find an approach that fits their body, symptoms and lifestyle.
My pelvic health consultations use a pants-on, whole-body approach and are available both in person and online.
LIFE OUTSIDE THE CLINIC
Movement is a huge part of my own life. I’m an endurance cyclist, hiker and fitness enthusiast, and I love travelling and exploring new places—preferably with a bike or walking boots involved.
Cycling is my biggest passion, and I could quite happily chew your ear off about it. Being active also helps me understand just how frustrating it can be when pain, injury or pelvic health symptoms begin interfering with the things you love doing.
CYCLING FOR PROSTATE CANCER UK
I’m currently raising awareness and funds for Prostate Cancer UK through a series of endurance cycling events.
My upcoming challenges include the Tour de 4, the 2027 Dragon Ride Gran Fondo and the 2027 Vélo Classic, riding the first three stages of the Tour de France route.
Over the years, I’ve raised more than £40,000 for charity through challenges including the Camino de Santiago, London to Paris, LEJOG and Chase the Sun South and North. These next rides have a particularly personal meaning for me, and I’m looking forward to taking everyone along on the journey.
